7 CHAKRAS OF KUNDILINI
7 CHAKRAS OF KUNDILINI |
In Kundalini yoga, the chakras are energy centers located along the spine that are believed to govern different aspects of physical and emotional well-being. There are seven main chakras in the human body, each with its own specific properties and characteristics:
Muladhara (root chakra): located at the base of the spine, it is associated with the feeling of safety and grounding.
Svadhishthana (sacral chakra): located just below the navel, it is associated with emotions, sexuality, and creativity.
Manipura (solar plexus chakra): located at the solar plexus, it is associated with self-esteem, willpower, and personal power.
Anahata (heart chakra): located at the heart, it is associated with love, compassion, and connection to others.
Vishuddha (throat chakra): located at the throat, it is associated with communication, self-expression, and the ability to speak one's truth.
Ajna (third eye chakra): located between the eyebrows, it is associated with intuition, wisdom, and the ability to see beyond the physical realm.
Sahasrara (crown chakra): located at the top of the head, it is associated with spiritual enlightenment and connection to the divine.
The chakras can be thought of as being in a state of balance or imbalance, depending on a person's emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Kundalini yoga practices are used to balance the chakras and to awaken the dormant energy at the base of the spine known as the Kundalini.
