7 SIGNS OF DEATH

EARLY SIGNS OF DEATH APPROACHING

How to know when death is near?  Some early signs of death are written in the Santi Parva of Mahabharata,  Brahmanda Puran and Uma Samhita of Shiva Purana. I am Compiling all of them and grouping them under different heads :

DREAMING SIGNS  :

If one dreams of vomiting Gold/Silver,will die in ten months.

When a person dreams of an owl or sees a vacant destroyed village, his death is near.

If he dreams his feet are dirty, will die in a year.

If one dreams of being dragged by a Bear or Monkey towards the south direction, will die soon.

If one dreams of becoming deaf, or wearing black clothes, buried up to neck in Coal or Ashes, will die soon.

If one dreams of falling from a high mountain, or of being naked and  travelling south  across a desert.will die soon.

If one tells about watching dead people around him, will die soon.

VISION SIGNS :

If one can’t see the Star Arundhati or ‘The Pole Star, will die in a year

If one can’t see the light rays of the Sun, moon or even fire, will die in, Eleven Months.

If one’s eyes see the Sun without rays, sees only red blob; death can occur within fifteen days.

One, who sees the Moon to have many holes like a spider’s web, sees the Sun to have similar holes, will die soon.

If a person cannot see his own shadows or sees his headless shadows, will die in one month

If one sees a Crow crying or a Dove landing on one’s head, will die in six months.

If one can’t see his reflection in water, oil or Mirror, or in the eyes of others, or sees the reflection in the mirror in a distorted form will die in one to six month.

If a person sees everything as black, his death is near

If a person see a rainbow at night, falling stars at midday; when vultures and crows seem to surround him; death can occur within six months."

If one is surrounded by crows, will die in five months.

 

SMELLING SIGNS :

If one smells like a corpse, he  will die in fifteen days.
One, who smells fragrant scents in worshiping place or temple, as the scent of corpses, has only one week more to live.

HEARING SIGNS :

One who cannot hear, terrific uproar or noises immediately will die soon.

If a person can’t hear the buzzing sound of his inner ear, when he blocks his ears, will die soon.
If he hears wolves howling  in the early morning, he will die soon.
 

MOUTH AND TONGUE SIGNS  :

If the tongue of a person swells suddenly and the teeth start secreting pus, it indicates that death is near.

When the tongue thickens, and all teeth remain coated with greasy substance; death can occur within six months.

If a person's mouth, tongue, ears, eyes, nose become like stone, it indicates his death is near.

When the organs of the body cease functioning and start pulling, when the upper part of the mouth feels dry all the time; death can occur within one month.

If one have stream of tears which suddenly flows from left eye without any cause, and if vapor is seen to coming out from his head, that is a sure indication that he will die before end of the day.

BODY SIGNS & SYMPTOMS  :

When a man's left hand continuously keeps shaking for seven days; death can occur within one month.

If a person’s body turns pale yellow or white and a little red, it indicates the death of that person in around 6 months.

If a person will have virtually no appetite for no reason, will die in near future.

If a person have abnormal sweating,(not to be confused with sweating and palpitation associated with heart attack)will die soon.

When one apply pressure against his fingernails and then release it, the blood does not quickly return; and his exhaled breath is cold – when he blow on his hand it feels cold instead of warm, when saliva no longer forms in his mouth, the end of his nose becomes pinched, his eyeballs sink further into the hollows of his eyes, it indicates he will die in a year.

If while passing urine or one has continuously hiccup, and for no reason if he cannot taste things or smell things, will die soon.

TEMPERAMENT CHANGE SYMPTOMS :

If death is near,  the person will have change in his usual temperament – For example, he may become aggressive although his is usually kind and gentle, or he will become gentle although he is  usually aggressive and ill-tempered
He would be able to remember his childhood memories child hood friends, but could not recall his own children and wife.
He would loose his luster, or loose his wisdom, and his inward and outward nature is totally changed without reason.
He will have difficulty in recognizing people and place.
One may notice the person to whom death is approaching will also stare at space.
And for no reason he will begin to dislike the place where he lives, his friends, or other objects of his attachment and will feel sad for no reason;
His wisdom and intelligence become less clear and less powerful.
